The parties and the platform's role
GoGlobal is an intermediary platform that connects local businesses ("merchants") offering tours, restaurants, retail products, transport, and currency exchange services with tourists.
The actual performance of the service you booked/ordered (such as the activity actually taking place, the meal being served, the product being delivered, the transport being carried out, or the currency exchange being executed) is carried out by the relevant merchant. The platform provides payment assurance, the booking infrastructure, and verification that the service has been received.
Prepayment and escrow
When you place an order, your payment is collected upfront, but this amount is not transferred directly to the merchant: the payment is held in escrow until the service is actually delivered.
Delivery of the service to you is verified by the relevant merchant/driver/courier scanning a single-use QR code assigned to you. When this scan occurs, the escrow is released and the payment, after deduction of the platform commission, is transferred to the merchant/driver/courier.
If the service time has passed and the QR code has never been scanned (for example, because the merchant never provided the service), the escrow is not held indefinitely; after a certain period, the payment is automatically refunded to you.
Cancellation and refund
You may cancel your order before the service time. The refund rate is determined on a sliding scale based on how close to the service time the cancellation is made: cancellations made more than 6 hours before the service time are refunded in full; cancellations made 3-6 hours before are refunded at half; cancellations made 1-3 hours before are refunded at one quarter; cancellations made less than 1 hour before the service time are not refunded.
The unrefunded portion is treated as compensation for the merchant/driver who had prepared for the service. For some services (for example, short-term locked-price commitments such as a currency lock), the cancellation window may be shorter; in that case it is stated separately on that service's own page.
User obligations
You are obliged to provide accurate and up-to-date information to the platform and to keep your account and session information confidential.
You may not use the platform for unlawful purposes, in a manner that infringes the rights of others, or in a manner that disrupts the security or operation of the system.
Limit of liability
The platform is not responsible for the quality of the service provided by the merchant; it is responsible for the correct operation of the payment assurance (escrow) and for verification of the service via QR. For complaints regarding the content of the service, you should first contact the relevant merchant and, if necessary, the platform's dispute resolution process.
For services that cannot be performed due to force majeure (natural disaster, weather conditions, etc.), the platform is responsible for operating the relevant process (for example, an automatic refund); it cannot be held responsible for the force majeure event itself.
Dispute resolution and applicable law
Disputes that may arise from these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey.
